Amongst other services, D&L has conducted speed measurements during running events on behalf of its client Asics. This involved the development of special software capable of accurately registering the runner’s (or cyclist’s) speed with an accuracy of 1 decimal point. The measurements were also alternated with on-screen smileys and messages appropriate to each speed.
